Itroduction:
ZCC cemented carbide rods new plant started in 2019. The plant was fully put into use since December 2020, with a design capacity of 3,000 tons, covering four processes: RTP preparation, forming, sintering, and intensive processing. The products of Rods and Bars can be mainly divided into 3 sectors.

Description:
The first one is our best-seller, rods for tools, including solid rods, helix rods, straight rods with coolant holes, gun drills and preformed rods. Rich in grades, our rods for tools can meet the processing requirements of various types of material and working conditions. Among the grades of solid rods, XT30S, YL10.2S, XF30S, XU09S and YL06C represent the “S (Super) Series”. With world-class performance, they can be well applied to stainless steel, titanium alloy, high-temperature alloy, high hardness die steel, and so on. Increasingly recognized by customers, sales volume is on the rise. We also have multiple types of helix rods. YL10.2S is the most popular grade, while XF30S and XT30S can be customized.

Our helix rods, which are mainly applied to deep hole drilling, boast world-class performance.
Our plant can supply 1-or-2-hole straight rods of various grades and types to meet customers’ requirements. We also provide 2-hole and kidney-shaped V-groove gun drills, gun drill mono-blocks, and short V-shaped drill bits. Grade XL06H is applied to material that is hard to process, while YL10.2S and XF20T are widely applicable. Their outstanding performance is highly recognized by our customers.

The second sector is rods for PCB tools, including rods for milling cutters and short welded rods. Among the grades of rods for milling cutters, YU05A and YU06R are most cost effective, YU06A is highly applicable, and the high-end XN208 can be applied to hard-to-process material. Different choices of grades can well meet different requirements of customers. Sales volume of rods for PCB micro drills has been growing rapidly in recent years. Recommended grades include YU06A, XF15S, XN209 and XN20A. The nano property of XN209 and XN20A enables them to process drilling bits with a diameter of 0.2mm and above. Our plant is actively developing material for drilling bits with a drilling diameter of less than 0.2mm. For now, it goes well, and the new material is likely to be put into use very soon. Meanwhile, we can also customize short welded rods of various sizes to save cost for customers.

The third sector is carbide products for woodworking, including woodworking rods, saw tips and bars. Thanks to 5 years’ efforts, we have developed a series of grades, including XU02, XU10W, XU03A, XF10A and XF10W to meet the needs of processing various artificial plates and solid wood.

Tungsten Carbide Rolls & Rings

Compared with steel rolls, cemented carbide roll rings have the characteristics of longer service life, higher cost-effectiveness, higher dimension precision and better surface finish owning to its high hardness, good wear resistance and high modulus of elasticity, thus greatly reduce labor intensity and improve productivity.

The first cemented carbide rolls in China was developed and produced by our company in the 1970s. After more than 40 years of development and constant technological update, we have successfully developed more than 40 series of grades, such as high speed wire roll rings, composite rolls, KOCKS roll rings and special roll rings, which make our product market share is among the best. We have been developed 6 series of roll rings so far, such as YGR series, YGH series, FHL series, PA series, YGA series, PC series. Among them, the high speed wire roll rings have rich grades, which can meet the processing needs of various materials and working conditions.

In addition, YGA series and FHL series of high speed wire roll rings have excellent performance in low temperature rolling, special steel rolling and other subdivisions. Their performance is leading in China and has reached the international advanced level. Their customer’s recognition is high and sales volume is rising rapidly. We also have multiple types of composite rolls that "PC series" and "ZJD series" are the most popular grades. They have high tensile strength, heavy load bearing, good wear resistance. And the rolled products has high surface roughness and precise negative deviation control. In recent years, the new “PA-A” series has gained a good reputation in KOCKS rolling mills and its market share has been increasing. The classic series YGR and YGH have been highly trusted by customers for their good versatility and stable performance.
